Pastoral Care Action Team
We believe that our church should strive to be a caring community where needs never go unnoticed and burdens are never borne alone.
The various organisations, fellowship groups and prayer cells provide oppertunities for giving and receiving care and support. But there are times for all of us when friendly concern is not quite enough, and in these situations we will try to provide additional help in appropriate ways.
To help achieve this we aim to:
- Develop Orangefield Contact Group
- Encourage membership of housegroups
- Appoint a part time Pastoral Visitor(s) to support the minister
- Increase opportunities for fellowship, in conjunction with the Events Action Team.
- Support the Pastoral Assistant and increase the number of volunteer visitors.
