Worship Action Team
Our aim is to engage the whole congregation in authentic lives of worship through the setting up of new ministries outside the core Sunday service, and developing new pathways to participate and develop members (including our young people) as worship leaders, musicians, singers and technical support. We believe this will require significant input over the next few years in leading, mentoring and training.
To help achieve these we aim to:
- Reorganise the worship teams to develop new areas of worship leading with children, youth, the elderly and in smaller gatherings.
- Initiate a new training and development group for primary age children to participate in worship - Orangefield Juniors - the OJ's.
- Resource training in multimedia skills - an area in need of new volunteers!
- Continue to work at the way we worship together - to stretch our engagement with worship both in Sunday services and in the wider life of the congregation.
- Seek to find the best way to resource and support the above.
