4. Girls: 25-30 July; Rostrevor Youth Centre, Co Down; £140. Calling all girls aged between 12-16 years old. Would you like to try something different for a week during your summer holidays? Would you like to make new friends whilst having heaps of fun, as well as learning more about God and deepening your relationship with Him? Well if you have answered ‘yes’ , we’ve got the place for you - Girls Camp. The week is filled with a wide range of activities - you never know what we could get up to during a week in Rostrevor. Please note that places are limited so sign up quickly so you don’t miss out.

5. Regarding purchase of a defibrillator for the Church - only 4 people have come forward who are trained in Basic Life Support and use of an AED. We really need about 8-12 people and would ask those who have current training to contact stephen.mcmechan@ntlworld.com . Thank you.
6. Private, confidential counselling - for those who are experiencing depression, anxiety, bereavement, relationship difficulties, loss of self esteem and work related issues etc. Counselling can provide a safe space to explore our difficulties, and help us find a way forward. For appointment, please contact - Lynne Livingstone - 90419452.
7. A member of the Listening team is on site (around the Resource Area) available every week Tuesdays 2-4 pm and Thursdays 7-9 pm. If you or someone you know would feel the need just to talk (in complete confidence) please make use of us!!
8. We still need stories for Orangefield Faithbook. If you have a story you would like to share but feel you would like help to write it, there are people willing to help. Contact Joan in the Church Office. Information about what we are looking for is on blue sheets in the vestibule and Resource Area.
9. If you have a special request for which you want the Prayer Chain activated, please phone Vera at 90704640. If you are unable to speak to her personally, then please pass on your request to the church office (90799391) during working hours.
10. JAM registration forms are now available for 2010!! JAM is taking place from 16-20 August and all are very welcome. Please complete registration forms for your children, available in the vestibule, as soon as possible and return to the church office. For further information please speak to Mark Smyth or Anna Cupples or enquire in the church office.
11. Thanks to everyone who has been helping our Romanian friends in many different ways over the last year. Would anyone be willing to help with a lift to and from Church (from the Botanic area) over the summer months? Even if you can only do one Sunday, that would be appreciated as we need to let them know which Sundays they can be brought to Church. It doesn't matter if you don't know them - it's a good way to get to know them ! Please sign sheet in vestibule if you can help.

13. Date for your diary - Sat 21 August 2010, 5pm to 8pm - Church B-B-Q
Please plan to support our Family Fun Day in the Church Complex on Saturday 21 August. Plenty of fun, games and a quiz challenge for House Groups, organisations or make up your own team. All ages catered for. Usual bar-b-que providing fantastic food and the entire event finishing with some praise in the church. Family ticket - £15, individual ticket - £5, now on sale from the Church Office - buy early to avoid the rush!
14. Anyone wanting to attend the evening celebrations (7.30 pm) of the Special Assembly "Confident in Christ" (16-19 August in Coleraine) may do so on a first come first served basis. The marquee will be opened at 6:45 pm to facilitate this and the visitors will be seated in a designated area in order to ensure that there is adequate space for the registered delegates. Please note that the closing date for registrations is 30 July.
15. SU Notes are in the Resource Area for collection. Any outstanding money should be given to Susan Baird as soon as possible.
16. 4U2: Makaton Sign Language Training. Causeway Prospects is organising a Makaton training course in our church on SAT 18 SEPTEMBER, 9.30 am (registration) - 3.30 pm. The course costs £12.00. 17. Orangefield Friendship Group - Re: Bow Street Shopping Mall outing. Members are asked to note particularly and tell their friends that, unfortunately, this trip is not financially viable and has been cancelled. The next outing will be to Every Home Crusade on Monday 16th August 2010. The committee hopes that everyone planning to attend will be along.
