Prayer Action Team
The vision of the Prayer Action Team is to see every member of OPC enthusiastically involved in some aspect of corporate prayer within the congregation. We aim to provide opportunity for prayer, not only on a regular basis, but also on 'one off' occasions for special events/needs. To encourage people in their personal prayer lives, resources will be available.
To put this vision into action we aim to:
- Encourage increased prayer for, and in, the organisations.
- Encourage prayer throughout the congregation, e.g. in House Groups, First and Third, Prayer Cells etc, introducing new methods from time to time e.g. 24-7 prayer.
- Introduce the use of Prayer Ministry at all services.
- Encourage more members, particularly young people, to undergo Prayer Ministry Training.
- Consider ways of engaging prayerfully with the community.
