Mission Action Team
Our desire is to develop 'World Christians' in Orangefield who are informed and excited about God's work throughout this planet and are equipped to support that work prayerfully and practically in obedience to the Great Commission. We seek to afirm and encourage those who called to cross-cultural outreach, whether short or long term, whether in Ireland or overseas.
To Help achieve this we aim to:
- Enable the congregation to support our missionaries, particularly in prayer, communication and finance.
- Identify an annual fundraising project and encourage church organisations to promote it within their programmes.
- Develop a three year plan of topics for mission services, including a regular challenge to missionary service.
- Arrange a short term mission trip for young adults
- Organise a major mission-focused event.
